mac and "cheese"...

mac and "cheese": livia and her bunny decided to have macaroni and cheese for lunch today. This use to be a staple in Livia's diet, but thankfully, that was a phase. She is eating a variety of foods, even though pizza is still her favorite. Who can blame her?


snowy day: bobby decided to brave the storm and pick up supplies for our family. I think he still has that caveman in his blood to "hunt" for the family. Livi and I decided to stay at home where we were warm and safe. There is nothing that a good bowl of Kraft macaroni and cheese can't solve!

old mac-woods had a farm...

old mac-woods: well, grandpa mike has done it again! He has successfully completed another project. As of this date, grandpa has finished making Livia a dollhouse, another dollhouse for cousin Greta, a bookcase, and now a rocking cow and bull. "Bessie" will be staying in Hutchinson at Grandpa and Grandma's house. The bull will be finding a home in Winona at my cousin Mandi's house. Mandi's son, Noah, will enjoy the bull...even though I think Livi will miss having the choice to ride either animals. As you can see in the picture, my dad included the udder on the cow, but grandma said, "NO!" to making the bull anatomically correct. I guess we all know who has the "balls" in the family...

good habits start early...

daddy/daughter time: livia had a nice weekend with daddy. Mommy was off having fun with her girlfriends in Rochester, while the two of them had "daddy daughter time". Copper even had a vacation, too. He spent his weekend with Grandpa in Hutchinson going for rides in the truck and smelling for squirrels in the backyard.

winter week: this week has been an enjoyable one for Livia. Kim has christened this week "Winter Childcare Week" at daycare so every day has been filled with dress-up or extra special activity days. Monday was "Mismatched Day", Today was "Hat day", and tomorrow is "Pajama day". The morning should be fairly easy.
Hopefully momma won't be caught with her pants down, too!
