last christmas...

last christmas: we celebrated our last christmas today with the johnson and urbanski family. It was a nice day with delicious food and great conversation. Here is a photo of all the grandkids: brayden (almost 5), cailyn (8 mo), avery (7 ), sophia (9 mo), and livia (3 1/2). What a cute bunch! :)

not a baby anymore...

not a baby anymore: today is sophia's 9 month birthday. I cannot believe how fast the time as gone by. It seems she has gotten older faster than Livia. How can that be?

We finally moved Sophia out of her carrier and into a big-girl car seat on Monday. I couldn't help myself to take a picture of her in the carrier one last time. It may be the last baby in our family to sit in the seat...sigh...she's not a baby anymore...

wingin' it...

wingin' it: bobby and i spent a night in red wing last weekend . We stayed at the historic St. James Hotel on Saturday night, and in the evening we had tickets to see comedian, Carlos Mencia at Treasure Island. We had a great time, and it was nice to spend some "adult time" together...even though we did spend most the trip talking about the girls :)

happy birthday, grandma...

happy birthday, grandma: this past weekend we celebrated grandma pam's 29th birthday again for the 28th time. Gosh, I do not know how she got to be younger than me! Livi with her gingerbread house she and daddy made together. If you look closely, Bobby made a mistake and put the wrong pieces over the pictures (you place the gingerbread over a box for stability and for decoration). I made such a stink about it, he drew in pictures. That was a good laugh!

help me obi one: it seems i have been catching sophia a lot lately during bathtime. It has been our "alone" time lately- just mommy and sophi. She is wearing Livia's bathrobe I had personalized ee-ons ago...what was I thinking? Anyway, I think she looks a little like Princess Leia ("Help me Obi One Kenobi") or L.L. Cool J ("Mama Said Knock You Out"). What do you think?
