another splendid saturday...

another splendid saturday: i spent the day with my parents, since bobby was at canterbury downs with some friends. Here is a favorite picture of my favorite ladies. Yes, that includes you too, mom! :) Don't they look cute in their matching sweaters?

seussical the musical...

seussical the musical: we celebrated our 8th "read across america" week at park elementary this week. I am proud to say that I began the tradition at park and it has grown tremendously every year (thanks to so many willing and able participants especially our media specialist, naomi)! Here are some pictures from the 2007 and 2009 cast. The end of the week commences with our Dr. Seuss play performed by staff members. We are pretty hilarious...and we love doing it! Naomi and I were "mean-shooter, bean-shooter bugs". We had an enjoyable time getting the kids wet...a little too much! Shelly drove the "Cooker Mobile". What a cute cook does anyone want to kiss the cook?

this week when i went to get the mail, livia asked if i had any mail for her. I said "no" but there was something from church. Livia looked at me very seriously and replied, "From God?" Way too funny and cute!

see 'em at the museum: or at least the "zeum" as livi calls it. We went to the Children's Museum in St. Paul today and met up with our friends (and godparents of the girls), Paul and Laurie. We had a nice visit amidst all the excited children. Liv had a great time playing and Sophia loved watching all the kids. livi's favorite part of the museum

wow- what a weekend!

wow-what a weekend: we attended the target center's "disney on ice" this weekend. We were up early to leave for Elk River. We dropped off Sophia with the Sederholm Family (thank you), and then we were off to the the Target Center. We arrived early to find that our seats were close- really close! We were in the 2nd row on the ice (a little cold- note to self: wear a coat next time). end of a fun day

saturday fun...

saturday fun: in the evening a bunch of "volleyball" girls met at lara's house for appetizers, drinks, and lots of laughter. Later we met up with our hubby's at the Bonfire to listen and dance to Drew's ban, Square 1 (that is Brandi's husband- first on the left). It was a great time (a little too much for some of us)! saturday morning fun: we attended "twirly sue and fit 4 u crew" in the morning. Liv loved Scooter the dog and Twirly Sue. It was a whole hour of moving and dancing "to be fit".
