memorable day...

memorable day: this morning we all awakened very early to make it to kimball by 8am. The girls had their picture taken at "Country Gallery". Livia LOVED all the attention and compliments (I wonder where she gets it from?), but Sophia was a little skiddish. All in all, I think we got some great pics. We go back for the viewing in 2 weeks. After morning nap and lunch, we headed to Little Falls to see the animals at the Pine Grove Zoo. We had a nice time, but Livia started complaining her stomach hurt. Well, 4 hours later on Hwy. 23, we figured out why....she started vomiting in the car! Poor thing...I didn't know what to do, so I grabbed a blanket and tried to contain it. Not so good....oh well, we'll laugh about it later, right?

it's game time...

it's game time: we hosted our couples "game night" at our house this weekend. We had a great time, as usual. happy birthday, sophia: the girls' godparents, laurie and paul, celebrated their 7th anniversary on april 13. It just so happens that it was also Sophia's 1st birthday. Sorry, guys! We hope it was wonderful :)

tiny dancer: as always, livia was dressed up yesterday in one of her dresses that "twirls". That is a seal of a good dress for Liv; if it twirls. This dress, given to us from cousin Kaytlin, definitely fit the criteria. Liv was so cute, I just had to snap a few photos. I actually think the outfit is a little small, but it didn't seem to bother Liv too much. What a little dancer!

baby emma's shower...

baby emma's shower: our beautiful, pregnant, teacher friend-i think i included all the adjectives needed :) kris, is expecting her first daughter any day now. Katie and Lara hosted a lovely baby shower for baby Emma today. We had a nice time eating, conversing, and "oohing and ahhing" over all the adorable pink items for Emma. It was a lovely afternoon, and we are all excited to meet baby Emma soon.
