groovy baby...

groovy baby: we attended our monthly game club night on saturday. This month is was a "Murder at the Go-Go"- 60's Murder Mystery. We all had an enjoyable time (I think the costumes were the best part of the evening), and Bobby a.k.a. "Trickie Dickie Nickson", turned out the be the murderer!
On Sunday, my mom, Livia, and I drove to New Ulm to attend Lisa and Jennifer's baby shower. It was a lot of fun to see all the baby gifts and to talk to the aunts and cousins.
Go-Go Goldie, Sister Mary Machete, Rose Pedal, and Jalopy Joplin
Katie, Brandi, and me "Three Far Out" Ladies :)

(Left: Lisa, Right: Jennifer) They are both having their first baby in August and September. Too cute!

ouch! still cute...

ouch! still cute: sophia has started walking, but she has had some falls (which is a given). As you can see, she had a HUGE fall at daycare on Thursday. She is mending beautifully, and she still has that cheerful attitude. We think she's still cute!
OUCH!

unexpected visitor...

unexpected visitor: when we went out to play today, we found a robin's nest in our playset. It was in a rather smart place, since it is under the roof away from the elements. It should be exciting to watch all the action unfold...as long as we don't get attacked or have too much robin "doo doo" on the playset :)

picture potpourri...

picture potpourri: this weekend was jam-packed with interesting and exciting events. Friday evening I attended the 30th Education Hutchinson banquet. I was honored for my 10 years of service with the district. I jokingly was hoping for a Kleenex Cozee, but ended up with a keychain. Yes, I said a keychain. It is cute, though. This is a picture of my tablemates (mainly from the Middle School) and friends. Saturday afternoon was my cousin, Stacey's, wedding shower. My mom and me before the shower.

Saturday night Bobby and I attended our friend, Paul's, surprise birthday party at the Liffey in St. Paul .

Laurie and the birthday boy, Paul. Thanks for a great time, Laurie!
