delano? dela-yes...

delano? dela-yes: this morning we packed a lunch and headed to the three rivers district outside of delano. i jokingly told bobby that i should contact delano with my new slogan, "delano? dela-YES!" what do you think? anyway, we took the LONG trail, had a picnic, picked off a tick (gross!), played at the awesome outdoor playset, and stopped for a raspberry shake at the peppermint twist. Lots of fun in the sun!

family time...

llamas in pajamas...

llamas in pajamas: okay, there are no llamas, but "llama, llama red pajama" is one of our favorite books! Bobby and I were just remarking how much Sophia LOVES her Dora pajamas. So much in fact that we contemplated putting them under glass and hanging it up as a shrine. Well, I decided to save the pajamas (no not under glass) once she grows out of them and this picture is a great reminder. livia jumped in to take a picture with her little sister...aww...

gone fishin...

gone fishin': on sunday, grandpa and daddy took sophia on her first fishing trip. Sophia was great! She enjoyed every minute of it...I think her favorite part was all the treats she got to eat during the boat trip. Livia is already looking forward to the next trip so she can ride along with the boys! sophia - 2 years old (2010)
