daycare day...

daycare day: we had a daycare celebration this evening with all the daycare families. Melissa and Robert threw a party with food and fun. We were able to paint pumpkins, jump in the trampoline, chat with the other daycare families, and squeeze in a picture. The kids even put on a concert for us at the end of the night. It was a great day!

the dentist...

the dentist: livi went to her first dentist visit today. I wish I could say that it went off without a hitch, but it didn't. Despite the pictures, Livi was pretty crabby. I woke her from a nap to go to the dentist office so she was in no mood to try something new. The ladies at DeKosters and Campbell's office were great- thanks for putting up with us! We'll try it again in 6 months...if I'm brave enough to try it again. Maybe daddy will have to do it next time :)

roll over, sophia...

roll over, sophia: just a couple days shy of her 5 month birthday, sophia is finally rolling from back to front. Here is a picture of her moments after she rolled from her back to the front.
sophia is enjoying her "excer-saucer". It is hilarious to listen to her "talk" to all the pieces. She is growing up so fast!

food fun...

food fun: bobby and i met up with our friends, paul and laurie, at the state fair on saturday. We had a great time, especially eating our favorites: pronto pups, cheese curds, and deep-fried Reese's Peanut Butter cups.

Daddy made a special lunch for Livia today. Liv calls them tunteeahs (meaning tortillas).

:)

Sophia had her first taste of rice cereal this evening. She wasn't too sure about it...just a little too thick for her palette. We'll try it again next month.
