saturday we headed over to target to celebrate "read across america" and the release of the new movie, "the lorax". The girls received a Lorax goodie bag with lots of fun things inside. Oh, the places we will go...ready to read... sophi seuss and livi lorax...
we were so excited to travel to cottage grove on saturday to celebrate our godson, owen's, 2nd birthday. Sophia was the most excited (I think), since she awoke bright and early Saturday morning at 5am and asked, "Is it time to go to Paul and Laurie's house now?" The family had a great time at Owen's "Yo GabbaGabba" party, and we even had the chance to stay overnight and have some much needed "catch up" time with Paul and Laurie.
Happy 2nd Birthday, Owen! We love you as much as you love Brobee! :)

love from bobby...
it has been a tradition for bobby to make chocolate covered strawberries for us every valentine's day. i think he should start his own business called, "bobby's berries". what do you think?
bobby and i had a early valentine's day outing on saturday. We started our evening out by having supper at Masa, a Mexican/Southwestern cuisine restaurant. Yum-O! At supper I surprised Bobby with tickets to Orchestra Hall to see "Bugs Bunny at the Symphony". As a child, Bobby always loved the Bugs Bunny cartoons, esp. the "Rabbit of Seville", a spoof of the classic, "Barber of Seville". When I saw the event, I knew he would love it. Scroll down below to see more. It was an lovely evening with my best friend....I love you, Bobby!Masa Restaurant...the best strawberry margarita, guacamole, and tamales. waiting for the show to begin at orchestra hall (ask us about our "neighbors" in the row with us...talk about making memories!)
we were in the 2nd row from the stage -
as the orchestra plays you are able to watch the cartoon on the big screen!
