it's o-fish-al...

it's o-fish-al: livia is officially five years old! we celebrated with friends and family on saturday with a fish themed birthday party. I apologize that I included so many pictures. I really tried to condense them...I really did have more!

fun in the sun...

fun in the sun: the blow-up pools and sprinklers made their first appearance of 2010 today. We finally put on our swimsuits to go outside and swim - what a concept! It was a humid day, but we still enjoyed the time outside. We ended our fun in the sun with a little watermelon for a treat. What a great day! livia and her favorite giraffe pool

a-dora-ble and silly...

a-dora-ble and silly: thursday morning the girls were all ready for daycare, and i couldn't resist taking some pictures. imagine that?

road trips...

road trips: we took some road trips this weekend to elmdale to celebrate my grandparents' 60th wedding anniversary-pretty awesome, huh? We also took a trip to Delano to check out the "Three Rivers District" around Lake Rebecca. It was awesome! We loved the trails, and we were amazed by the outdoor play area (see the pictures below). The only thing that was a "downer" was that Sophia got a fever at the end of the day on Sunday...poor little girl! getting ready to bike!

look at the trees...i thought these were spiderwebs at first. can you guess what they are? they are caterpillar nests.

close-up of the caterpillar nests...a little gross, huh? we also held a baby turtle (i am still kicking myself that we did not get a picture) and saw many other things in nature on our bike ride.

this was the outdoor play area with many different climbing areas, slides, and cushy floor...i like the eagle's nest at the top. all this for free!

take me out to the ballgame: bobby and i were fortunate enough to make it to our first twins game of the season in the new ballpark on wednesday (thanks, jim and jenny!). It was quite a windy day (see photos below). We still had a fantastic time checking out the new stadium. I cannot wait to go back again someday and bring the girls! our section - 303 (looking up)
