mommy/daughter days...

last week as i was walking sophia into daycare, i stopped and asked her, "would you like to spend the day with mommy?" She looked at me kind of puzzled, and then she said, "Sure!" When I told her we were going to Nickelodeon Universe, she was more than ecstatic. Here are some pictures from our Mommy/Daughter Day. ready for the trip!
sophia at nickelodeon universe (mickey universe is what she calls it)

riding on the "blue's clues" ride together...she chose magenta instead of blue - i think it was because it matched her outfit :)

her favorite animal!

after the rides, we decided to have some ice cream at the schwan's shoppe

we ended our trip at the mall of america with a stop at the dora store and disney store...my little princess!

it was a fun day!

-----------------------

as i was walking into daycare with livia on friday, i asked her if she wanted to spend the day with me. She quickly replied, "Yes!" After spending the day with Sophia the week prior, Livia had been waiting for her "day". I think she forgot because she was sure surprised and excited to spend the day with me. Here are some pictures from our "Mommy/Daughter Day".

the "before" picture at "color me mine" ( a pottery painting store)

here is the "after" picture (we won't be able to pick up our items for 1 week...can't wait to see the final results!)

after lunch, we decided to play some games at chuck e. cheese...i think she likes horses!

livia next to chuck...she quickly realized that "he is just a robot". after our fun, we headed home, but not before stopping at the general store for a treat. before we left livia stated, "This is the best day ever!"

aww....i agree...it is always special spending time with my girls!

whatcha doing...

this summer the family and i have really taken to the disney show, "phineas and ferb". Every episode there is a cute, little girl named Isabella that asks, "Whatcha doing?" I wasn't working during the month of July, so I bet you were wondering what we have been doing this past month.

Here are some photos from July, so you no longer have to wonder, "Whatcha doing?"... we visited a few parks...

played at the mcdonald's playland a few times...

set up a "pretend" library at home and visited the public and park elementary library every week!
