tiny dancer: as always, livia was dressed up yesterday in one of her dresses that "twirls". That is a seal of a good dress for Liv; if it twirls. This dress, given to us from cousin Kaytlin, definitely fit the criteria. Liv was so cute, I just had to snap a few photos. I actually think the outfit is a little small, but it didn't seem to bother Liv too much. What a little dancer!

baby emma's shower...

baby emma's shower: our beautiful, pregnant, teacher friend-i think i included all the adjectives needed :) kris, is expecting her first daughter any day now. Katie and Lara hosted a lovely baby shower for baby Emma today. We had a nice time eating, conversing, and "oohing and ahhing" over all the adorable pink items for Emma. It was a lovely afternoon, and we are all excited to meet baby Emma soon.

another splendid saturday: i spent the day with my parents, since bobby was at canterbury downs with some friends. Here is a favorite picture of my favorite ladies. Yes, that includes you too, mom! :) Don't they look cute in their matching sweaters?

seussical the musical...

seussical the musical: we celebrated our 8th "read across america" week at park elementary this week. I am proud to say that I began the tradition at park and it has grown tremendously every year (thanks to so many willing and able participants especially our media specialist, naomi)! Here are some pictures from the 2007 and 2009 cast. The end of the week commences with our Dr. Seuss play performed by staff members. We are pretty hilarious...and we love doing it!
